Now, everyone can be an Olympian!

This could be you...or Kenenisa Bekele
With the Beijing Olympics looming, this latest release from Sega is just in time to cash in on the event.
Beijing 2008, with a scheduled release in early July, has a massive lineup of Olympic-themed games. Players, or should I say, competitors, will be able to take part in pretty much every individual sport. But, there will be no chance to compete in team-based sports, such as basketball.
The game can be played offline, but according to Gamespot, it also allows competitors to play online, so that they can represent their countries, just like in the Olympics.
Beijing 2008 will also allow up to eight players to represent their country online. A host will be able to set the number and type of events, or set the event type to random and let everyone compete in whatever event pops up.
