Pop princess and pooch sighted in Sim form
 Would you download her?
Electronic Arts has announced that they have struck a deal with American starlet Hilary Duff. Both Hilary and her pet chihuahua Lola will appear in the next Sims expansion, The Sims 2: Pets.
Hilary is ecstatic to be a part of the Sims family:
I've logged hundreds of hours playing The Sims games, so I jumped at the chance to be in The Sims 2 Pets," said Sims aficionado Hilary. "I love creating Sims characters and guiding them through life, designing their houses and then blinging them out with cool furniture. Now, in The Sims 2 Pets, EA has combined two things I really enjoy - pets and The Sims!
Executive Producer for The Sims Division of Electronic Arts, Rod Humble, also shares her enthusiasm for the project:
Hilary is the perfect partner for The Sims 2 Pets - not only is she a huge animal lover, but she is also a Sims fan! Hilary was involved in every step of the process, from creating the Hilary and Lola characters to designing some of the tricks dogs can do in the game.
- Official Press Release
Whilst Hilary will be available in the retail versions of The Sims 2 on other platforms, PC owners will be able to decide whether they want Sim Hilary to move into the neighbourhood, as she will be offered as a Sims Exchange downloadable package on the official website from October 17 through December 31 only.
