Hot TV properties get the nod

Coming to a PC near you in 2008
Some of the biggest news out of this year's Comic-Con event in San Diego is the news that two of television's hottest properties will be getting the videogame treatment.
First off the block will be the superhumans from the sci-fi hit Heroes. The long pursued deal was announced by the Ubisoft and the creator of the series, Tim Kring. Ecstatic at the news, Kring spoke highly of the partnership with
Ubisoft. With so many possibilities on the cards, Ubi has announced that the game will feature the entire ensemble cast of the series rather than honing in on a particular character's journey in the videogame tie-in.
We're very excited to be making the 'Heroes' video game with Ubisoft. Time and again, Ubisoft has proven they can turn licensed properties into fantastic games.

While the game's script will be penned by a Ubi hired writer, it can be confirmed that the show's writers will supervise and consult the Ubi team on game concept and story. Back in May, Heroes executive producer Jesse Alexander hinted that some of the serie's story arcs were writing into the show for the purpose of tying into the videogame.
Along with the Heroes, the popular castaways from Lost will be finding their pixelled counterparts on PC monitors as soon as 2008. Players will finds themselves in the role of a passenger that survived the crash of Oceanic flight 815 along with Jack, Kate, Locke and the rest of the popular characters from the show. On the island you will be unraveling the mysteries of the island as well as unraveling your own past.
Ubisoft promises to recreate an authentic 'Lost' experience, giving players the opportunity to: explore familiar locations from the show, unravel the mysteries of the island, outwit enemies, solve puzzles and battle the dreaded smoke monster.
For more news, stay tuned to the proceedings at Comic-Con as it has been announced that the first trailer for Lost will be revealed sometime today.
