Starcraft II Spec Rumors Quashed Sat, 24 May 2008 Specs result of "independent speculation", says Blizzard.
![]() What do you think... will you NEED a 7800GTX to play this? The specifications that were apparently 'leaked' had surprised many as being uncharacteristically high for a Blizzard title. Traditionally, their games are made to be playable on a wide variety of systems.
A Blizzard representative told IGN, "Blizzard has not released final, official system requirements for StarCraft II. The numbers you're seeing are a result of independent speculation from a Spanish game magazine."
The rumoured requirements included a 7series NVIDIA videocard or ATI equivalent, 1GB of ram, and a 1mbit ADSL net connection for online play.
