After almost nine years, Capcom have finally announced that Street Fighter IV will be created for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The game was originally and most famously, an arcade game with a six button configuration.

The Street Fighter series requires characters to battle their way through various storylines, using each character’s special abilities. The games feature a host of characters from different parts of the world, including Ryu (Japan), Ken (USA) and Chun-Li (China).


Development of the game started in October last year, but Capcom have not scheduled a release date as yet. According to Gamespot, the game is expected late in 2008.
