Available 25th June 2008 at all good newsagents!

Now this is one deadly cool cover. *Cough*

Yes, yes, obviously Lich King is the big feature for this issue. How big? 10 pages big, that's how big.
But of course, as much as we all love WoW, we couldn't simply devote the entire mag to it. So, we put on our reviewing hats for a number of titles, including one you may have heard of, called Age of Conan. Can it kill the mighty WoW? You'll have to read the review to find out!
For those who aren't into hardcore titles, we have an in depth feature on the nature of casual gaming, plus a look at an old PC classic, MDK.
The WoW madness has spread to the disc, with the latest client included on the DVD, along with 2 weeks free play for newcomers.

That's right! You heard right! It's Lich King on the cover and World of Warcraft on the disc!

Features/Previews
Apparently someone wanted a Wrath of the Lich King feature, so we busted out 10 pages of intense detail. Or something. Anyway, it's the biggest WOW article ever, all thanks to Alan's exclusive hands-on time with the world's most anticipated MMO expansion.

And still on MMOs, we take a gander at Champions Online. Is this City of Heroes' evil nemesis?

Features include a look at casual gaming. What the hell is it? Why the hell should you care?

Reviews
Elsewhere, and Age of Conan gets the PCPP review treatment: how does our opinion compare with yours? And for nostalgia's sake, we remember our old favourite: MDK. What the hell was that game even about?

Tech
In tech we review some sweet kit including Logitech's Squeezebox - easily the most interesting thing you can do to your home stereo ever. We also examine a CPU with not two cores, not four... but three.

The Disc
The disc is a little out of the ordinary this month. Aspiring game creators can get their teeth into a 30-day trial of 3D Studio Max 2009, while aspiring MMO gamers can play World of Warcraft for two weeks, absolutely free. If you already own WOW, this is the latest client so if your machine crashes you won't need to spend six hours redownloading stuff. We've included all patches up to 2.4.2, which was the latest at time of production. Your serial number is on the back of the DVD slip. Oh, and there's a demo for GRID as well. Enjoy that.

PCPP#160 Available December 10!
