Yes, the PC PowerPlay forums are still down. Yes, we said they'd be up by midday yesterday. But no, we didn't anticipate the problems that would occur while the data was being transferred to a new server.

A quick call to our IT department saw words like "database corruption" thrown about. It's scary stuff, but these guys can program a toaster to dance like in Ghostbusters II, so we're confident that they can sort out the kinks. Indeed, they working on them right now as I type this, striving to get the forums back online "this afternoon, [but] no promises."
