Watch out for the Teletubby custard!

Uh-oh!
What sort of twisted minds would dream up a mod where Tellytubbies battle it out against Care Bears in a round of paintball? Maybe Cheech and Chong on a rainy Sunday afternoon? Perhaps it was Jay and Silent Bob as they loitered out the front of the Quick Stop? How about the PCPP crew after a whole bottle of non-alcoholic champagne? Nope. Thank the French!

Battlepaint is the totally wacky French Battlefield 2 mod that pits these children's television favourites against one another in a round of paintball. While most Battlefield 2 fans originally considered this mod to be little more than a gag, the team behind Battlepaint have put in the hard yards and delivered their first public release.

In production for over eight months, Battlepaint features new voiceovers, crazy music, and a stack of Tellytubby and Care Bear inspired weapons, vehicles and maps. Mmmm... I can taste the Tellytubby custard already!

For those fluent in French, drop by the Battlepaint website - otherwise you can find out about the Battlepaint mod over at TotalBF2.com.

Hats off to these guys for making something totally un-Battlefield. Wait, is 'un-Battlefield' a word?
