If you're not satisfied with Championship Manager or LMA Manager, SEGA and Sports Interactive now come to the table with Football Manager 2007. ToTheGame has the press release announcing the management sim has gone gold, and is due for release in Europe on 20 October. The Australian release should follow a few weeks after that.

With so much choice in the genre, it's a good thing Sports Interactive has released a demo to help players decide. The company's website describes two different demo versions. The 80 MB Vanilla version features only the English league and is stripped of sound and graphical effects to keep the size down, while the 260 MB Strawberry version has many more playable leagues and includes ear and eyecandy.
