The game that stops a nation?

The Cup is all about the hats
New Zealand developer Sidhe Interactive and publisher Home Entertainment Suppliers (HES) have announced a release date of 26 October for their horse racing game Melbourne Cup Challenge.

Just in time for the real Melbourne Cup, to be held on 7 November, Sidhe's game aims to simulate all the facets of the sport of kings, including breeding, training, betting and the actual races.

"The Emirates Melbourne Cup is the race that stops a nation", said David Robles, Business Development Manager for HES. "The excitement, passion, and glamour of the horse racing industry are captured in Melbourne Cup Challenge allowing gamers themselves to compete in their very own legendary horse racing events".
