Because even evil needs some sunshine...

Somehow I don't think the pot plant did it...
The Adventure Company has announced the next title in the Agatha Christie series of adventure games, based upon the work of the famous mystery writer. This time, the game will bring to life the words of Christie's novel Evil Under the Sun.

This instalment will take place on a sunny tropical island as Detective Poirot visits a number of locales in his investigation of the murder of a famous actress. The developers have taken note of player feedback and will be including a number of features and improvements: a host of new puzzles will be on offer to test the grey matter of the most seasoned adventure gamer, while multiple dialogue options will result in intriguing plot twists depending on how the player has interacted with the game's NPCs.

Taking on the role of Hercule Poirot, players can scour a stunning tropical island for clues and delve deeper into the mysterious relationships between over 20 unique characters to search out the killer. There are a number of added features and improvements that have been made to Evil Under the Sun based on player feedback, including a more streamlined inventory system, character dialogue choices that will impact events as the player progresses in the game, less repetitive detective footwork, and more diverse environments and locales to explore.

- Official Press Release

The next investigation of Hercule Poirot will arrive this October.
