Infinity Ward confirms CoD4

It's a battle of the acronyms: will CoD4 be a BF2 killer?
Those impatient devs at Infinity Ward couldn't keep it under their hats any longer: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is currently in development.

ESPN viewers will get the first taste of CoD4 as a teaser video will run during the airing of the NFL Draft proceedings. While it has been confirmed for US and Euro ESPN viewers, there is no word on whether the teaser will make it into the Aussie broadcast.

While I was all for keeping the suspense going right up until Saturday, the cat is out of the bag, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been announced, but thats not the BIG part. The fact that I'm excited about, is not only is it announced today, but it will be revealed (thats right, I'm talking FIRST LOOK) this Saturday during the NFL Draft (also online during TBA).

I won't ruin the surprise, and give any details away about what you'll see, but trust me.... you won't be disappointed.

The Info:

This Saturday, April 28th 2007, will be the worldwide reveal and first look at Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Tune into the ESPN NFL Draft during 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST to be among the first to view the trailer, which will be immediately available online afterwards with a little extra surprise for your viewing pleasure.

Thanks to all that messy timezone business, us Aussies would do well to keep our eyes on the internet on Sunday (damn those Yanks for being a day behind), as IW unleashes the video online following the ESPN broadcast.
