HyperX Alloy Elite RGB gaming keyboard out now

HyperX lifted the lid on this new keyboard at CES, but now it's dropped into retail, and we're pretty curious to give the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB a spin. Or a type. You know what we mean.

The new keyboard is the first HyperX 'board to feature mechanical switches, and comes in Red, Blue, and Brown flavours. It's built around a steel frame so can take a few knocks, and has on-board memory that can save your custom lighting profiles - because of course it must come with per-key RGB lighting.

It also boasts a detachable wrist-rest, extra coloured key-caps for vital gaming keys, and full multimedia controls.

But it is pricey - it retails at JB Hi-Fi for $259. We've got one in the office, so keep an eye out for a review this week.
