Six local games make it into the PAX Aus 2018 Indie Showcase

PAX Aus is on again this year down in sunny Melbourne town, and it's just announced its Indie Showcase lineup - six games lovingly crafted by Australian and New Zealand's indie developers.

“The rest of the world should fidget uncomfortably, because the work we see every year from Aussie and New Zealand developers is compelling beyond compare.” said Luke Lancaster, content manager, PAX Aus. “2018’s Indie Showcase winners are no different, and PAX is incredibly proud to share these six games with everyone come October.”

Spin Rhythm is a rhythm game that does what it says on the tin, from Super Entertainment. Infliction - a game we've covered a couple of times - brings some personal horror to the show floor from Caustic Reality, and Double Shot combines VR gunplay with cocktail making - which sounds like a killer premise to this high-functioning alcoholic!

Dissembler is an abstract puzzle-game with over 120 levels, while TeleBlast is a four-player sports title designed around teleportation. And finally, Mars Underground is an adventure game inspired by the LucasArts classics of yore.

And you can catch them all at PAX Aus. Tickets are still on sale, and you can get 'em here.
